Christmas Wreath Making Experience at Wassand Hall

£75.00

Saturday 5th December 2026

2 pm - 4.30 pm

Join us for a special wreath making experience in the historic surroundings of Wassand Hall, East Yorkshire.

We begin by exploring the fascinating history and folklore of the Christmas wreath, discovering some of the traditions, symbolism and stories behind one of our most enduring festive decorations.

Then you will create your own sumptuous Christmas wreath, guided step-by-step through the techniques of premium wreath making.

You’ll have an abundant selection of freshly cut seasonal greenery, dried materials and natural seasonal details to choose from.

Rather than receiving a pre-selected collection of materials, you’ll be encouraged to choose the colours, textures and details that appeal to you, allowing every wreath to develop it’s own character.

Your finished wreath will be beautifully completed with your choice of velvet or satin ribbon.

Alongside the making, there will be plenty of time to relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere, with mulled punch, tea, coffee, mince pies and other seasonal treats.

Set within the atmospheric stable courtyard at Wassand Hall, this is more than a wreath making class. It is an opportunity to slow down, be creative and enjoy a little Christmas magic…while making something beautiful to take home and hang on your door.

Your experience includes:

  • Fascinating talk on the history and folklore of Christmas wreaths

  • Expert step-by-step wreath making tuition

  • A generous selection of freshly cut and dried seasonal materials

  • Freedom to choose your own colours, textures and decorative details

  • Velvet or satin ribbon to finish your wreath

  • A large, beautifully crafted wreath to take home

  • Mulled punch, freshly brewed tea and coffee

  • Mince pies and festive treats

Venue:

Wassand Hall, Seaton, East Yorkshire, HU11 5RJ

Places are intentionally limited allowing the workshop to remain relaxed, personal and unhurried.
