Wednesday 16th December 2026
7pm - 9.30pm
Join Esther for a cozy, creative evening in the convivial atmosphere of Stella’s Larder, Driffield. We’ll gather together to create a beautiful, seasonal and sustainable candlelit centrepiece for your festive table.
During this workshop you’ll be guided through the process of creating your own beautiful candlelit centrepiece, arranged in a ceramic bowl, using sustainable floristry techniques, fresh locally grown foliage and organic elements slow-dried from the cutting garden.
Esther will guide you through each stage of the design, sharing her knowledge and helping you create a centrepiece that is entirely your own. Along the way, you’ll discover some of the curious stories, traditions and folklore associated with the winter greenery we use.
No floristry experience is needed.
This is a friendly, hands-on workshop where you can take your time, learn new skills and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something beautiful with seasonal materials.
Your ticket includes a festive drink from Stella’s selection, along with delicious nibbles to enjoy while you create.
What’s included:
All fresh foliage, dried materials and sundries
Ceramic bowl and paraffin-free taper candle
Expert step-by-step guidance
An introduction to the history and folklore of the seasonal greenery
Your finished centrepiece to take home and enjoy throughout Christmas
A festive drink and nibbles
Venue:
Stella's Larder, 24 Middle Street, Driffield, East Yorkshire, YO25 6PS
A small number of places are available, creating a relaxed and personal experience, with plenty of time to create.
